This is a skills-based qualification designed to help learners develop the personal and social skills needed to help them to progress to independent living, future employment or further vocational study.
You will develop key attributes for the public services industry and on successful completion of this course, you will be awarded Level 1 Vocational Skills Award.
What you'll learn
You will cover the following:
- Taking Part in Fitness Testing
- Responding to an Incident
- Planning and Navigating a Route
- Contributing to your Community
You will need to purchase a uniform and take part fitness activities as part of the weekly timetable. There is also a requirement to complete 60 hours of relevant work experience over the year.
How you'll learn and be assessed
All units are 100% internally assessed.
Progression
On successful completion of this course you could progress to Level 2 Certificate in Public Services.
