Performance and Production at Banbury and Bicester College is focussed on developing personalised pathways for all learners, allowing you to undertake a broad and multi-disciplined programme of study.

The course is a modern, contemporary performing arts course where you’ll specialise in both live and recorded performance.

You’ll cover a vast array of skills and techniques, all focussed on preparing you for the next steps in a creative career.

Specialist subjects include:

  • TV / Film Acting
  • Physical Theatre
  • Theatre in Education
  • Online Marketing
  • Dance
  • Production Design
  • Technical Theatre

We want you to collaborate in your learning experience, so our industry-experienced tutors will help you to identify your areas of interest and areas for improvement.

You’ll develop practical performance skills using voice and movement to communicate effectively to an audience. You will also learn the importance of team work, self-discipline, and you’ll gain confidence in interacting with—and leading—others.

These skills can be used not just in the performing arts industry but in many other areas of work.

All your coursework is internally assessed at the end of the year (there is no exam).

It’ll then be marked by the centre and moderated by UAL Awarding Body.

It is recommended that you have a minimum of three GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, at least one of which should be in an art subject.
All learners will be required to attend an audition. You will be contacted personally to confirm any materials you may need to prepare for this.
